Psalms 23 — King James Version (KJV, 1611)Psalms 23 — World English Bible (WEB, 2000)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. A Psalm by David. Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.
