6 Por acaso não é este o jejum que eu escolheria: que soltes os nós de perversidade, que desfaças as amarras do jugo, e que libertes aos oprimidos, e quebres todo jugo?

7 Por acaso não é [também] que repartas teu pão com o faminto, e aos pobres desamparados recolhas em casa, [e] vendo ao nu, que o cubras, e não te escondas de tua carne?

8 [Quando fizeres isto] , então tua luz surgirá como o amanhecer, e tua cura logo chegará; e tua justiça irá adiante de ti; a glória do SENHOR será tua retaguarda.

9 Então clamarás, e o SENHOR [te] responderá; gritarás, e dirá: Eis-me aqui; se tirares do meio de ti o jugo, o estender de dedo, e o falar perversidade.
