14 As palavras de Jonadabe, filho de Recabe, que mandou a seus filhos que não bebessem vinho, foram obedecidas; pois não o beberam até hoje, por terem ouvido ao mandamento de seu pai; e eu vos tenho falado, insistindo em falar, mas vós não me ouvistes.
15 E enviei a vós a todos os meus servos, os profetas, insistindo em enviá-los, para dizerem: Convertei-vos agora cada um de seu mal caminho, e fazei boas as vossas ações, e não sigais a outros deuses para lhes servi-los, e assim vivereis na terra que dei a vós e a vossos pais; porém não inclinastes vossos ouvidos, nem me obedecestes.
