5 E Jeremias mandou a Baruque, dizendo: Eu estou preso, não posso entrar na casa de SENHOR;
6 Portanto entra tu, e lê do rolo que escreveste de minha boca as palavras do SENHOR aos ouvidos do povo, na casa do SENHOR, no dia do jejum; e também as lerás aos ouvidos de todo Judá, os que vêm de suas cidades.
7 Talvez a oração deles chegue à presença do SENHOR, e cada um se converta de seu mau caminho; porque grande é a ira e o furor que o SENHOR tem pronunciado contra este povo.
