5 Com os ouvidos eu ouvira falar de ti; mas agora meus olhos te veem.

6 Por isso [me] abomino, e me arrependo no pó e na cinza.

7 E sucedeu que, depois que o SENHOR acabou de falar essas palavras a Jó, o SENHOR disse a Elifaz, o temanita: Minha ira se acendeu contra ti e contra os teus dois amigos; porque não falastes de mim o que era correto, como o meu servo Jó.

8 Por isso tomai sete bezerros e sete carneiros, ide ao meu servo Jó, e oferecei holocaustos em vosso favor, então meu servo Jó orará por vós; pois certamente atenderei a ele para eu não vos tratar conforme a vossa insensatez; pois não falastes de mim o que era correto, como o meu servo Jó.
