Created Male & Female
The culture is obsessed with redefining identity, but Scripture stands unmoved on the truth of creation. Genesis 1:27 and Matthew 19:4 establish that God made humanity male and female.
The current culture is obsessed with redefining identity, but Scripture stands unmoved on the foundational truth of creation. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Jesus reinforces this divine design in Matthew 19:4, asking, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female?” There is no room here for the modern invention of fluid identities or a spectrum of genders. God established the binary of male and female as the template for humanity, and to attempt to alter or redefine your own nature is an act of rebellion against the Creator who formed you. This extends to the biblical definition of marriage and sexual holiness. When men or women engage in homosexual behavior, they are rejecting the natural order God instituted at creation. People argue that “love is love” or that they were born with these desires, but God looks at the heart and calls us to be transformed by His truth, not to conform to our own impulses. You cannot claim to honor the Creator while simultaneously rejecting the fundamental way He created you. We are called to align our lives with His design, not to force His design to fit our personal feelings or modern trends.
